I'd say just about all the North Shiverpeak quests. For some reason it is hard getting a party together to do them. It's not far enough into the game where everyone is experienced and it's hard enough where level 7-8 characters (you know who you are) don't make things any easier. The Stone Summit are my most hated of enemies because they always seem to have a necro/mesmer in the mob who strip enchantments (not to mention empathy/pacifism that's so annoying as a warrior).

Well getting a party together in Northern Shiverpeaks isn't all that hard. This is about the only part of the game which I almost always PUG.

Hmm... for me it would be Aurora Glade and the portal attunement. Unless the team knows what it's doing (which it rarely does whenver I've tried it), it's a vicious cycle of running crystals which will go on forever because the people who aren't running the crystals are too busy attacking the White Mantle instead of THEIR crystal runner, so it's a vicious cycle of never getting it done and eventually everyone dies.

For missions:
Elbonia Reach
Thunderhead Keep
And that bonus where you have to awaken the guardians.

For quests:
Galrath's (I did it with one PC, and I'm not doing it again)
Iron horse mine trio (only redeeming part about it is you can get to ice tooth easily)
2nd one for +15 skill points (just annoyed me)

I'll have to agree with the lost pig, titan quests, and helping the dwarves.

lost pig - This one always bugged me, because I don't find it enjoyable to chase a little piggy around that has unpredictable movements. Since there's usually some important spells on that quest I find myself doing it every time. "I know yous the hero in the game n all, but it's time to chase some piggies YEEHAW!" What in the world is up with that?

titan quests - Not because they're hard for me, but I can't get a dam group to DO them. Unless of course, I'm a monk, warrior, or ranger, and sometimes (not always) necro.

Helping the dwarves - just plain annoying. Hey little guy, I just got you the plans, now do your own dirty work, I fullfilled my end of the bargain. Lazy dwarves, lol.

I never actually do that quest, just click it with every secondary profession for my char to get the skills for free and then abandon it again.

I wish all the quests were as easy as that stupid pig-herding. If not for the surprise Ettin rush I would've gotten it done on the first try. He moves VERY predictably if you don't try to run him over :P .. gimme free skills for herding a pig, I'd do it all bloody night

This quest used to annoy the hell out of me as well unless I figure out how to predict the pig's movement. The pig will always try to head AWAY from you and the direction you are approaching from. So always approach from the south side and use the passage walls to limit his movement so that he can only move north.

So true!!! Why don't they put the freaking dwarf on the OPPOSITE SIDE of the portal? They can spawn different monsters once you get a different quest...

For me its just any quest with an ally in. If they die then your whole party fails the mission. Especially Killroy Stoneskin in Sorows Furnace. He justs rushes in and gets killed and the whole missions failed. And you've got to walk back into sorrows furnace to do it again. I want to be nuking or disabling my enemies not looking after some insane dwarf.
Apart from that the hog quest kinda got on my nerves. when the ettins attack you get distracted and lose the hog. Ah well, done it now...

I didn't like Eye for Profit at all. It's a long trek, filled with wind riders, devourers, scarabs and spiders. As for missions, Ruins of Surmia is by far the worst. It's really long, the bonus is hard to do with a PUG (since someone usually attacks the ember bearers too early despite warnings), and after all the walking it's still possible to get killed in the obelisk phase, if everyone doesn't pay attention.

You should have seen Rurik in BWE/E34E-events. Kilroy has nothing on Rurik rushing forwards towards the next group of mobs at 10% health, when the party suffers from zero-energy and almost non-existant health.

Killroy waits for you, at certain places on the map, until it rushes towards the mobs.

Rurik didn't wait, ever. These days, it's easy, as Rurik follows you, instead of rushing.

Rurik, Whammo in the worst sense.

But, the most annoying quests are Helping the Dwarves and Blood&Smoke. They just aren't any fun.

All missions around Post Apocalyptic Ascalon area ...It is just sad looking place to play after Pre-Searing and actually it still doesnt inspire to walk there after almost one year of playing.

lol, I agree. I once got into a group there and thought we were all doing the high priest quest, more than half the team automatically went for orozar right away, and some of us were like, "Hey, we're not doing oro, could you snap out of it please?" lmao

Some quests are so annoying I just skip it. I only do Galrath because I get more Exp. doing the quest than at the end (w/ scrolls of course). Monk's Path now is pretty annoying though, damn Scarabs...
